[1766] Uninstall Novell Network Client

Probleem: Kan Novell client niet verwijderen in Windows 95/98/ME.

Het verwijderen van de Novell Client vanuit Windows 95/98/ME vraagt om een iets andere aanpak dan onder bijvoorbeeld Windows 2000 of XP. Waarbij je in Windows 2k/XP nog eenvoudig via 'software' in het configuratiescherm de Novell Client kunt verwijderen, zo zal dit onder Windows 95/98/ME niet gaan. Om de client toch te kunnen verwijderen bestaat er een eenvoudig tooltje. Een uninstall van NNC vanuit Windows 95/98/ME gaat dan als volgt;

1. Download het Novell Client Uninstall Tooltje.
2. Sla het bestand op op een lokale drive op de computer, bijvoorbeeld het bureuablad.
3. Als het downloaden is voltooid dubbelclick het bestand unc32.exe en volg de instructies op het scherm.

Windows 95/98/ME

You need to download a program from the Computer Services web site to uninstall the Novell client.

1. Download the Novell Client Uninstall Tool.
2. Save the file on your computer, taking note of where it is being saved so that you can find it later.
3. When the file has finished downloading, double-click on the downloaded file UNC32.EXE. Follow the instructions on the screen to uninstall the Novell Network Client.

1. Go to Start - [Settings] - Control Panel - Network Connections - Local Area Connection. Click on Properties.
2. On the General tab, click on Novell Client for Windows. Click the Uninstall button. Follow the instuctions on the screen to uninstall the Novell Network Client.
